It only took 24 hours for Albania to be submerged in water and create chaos in every corner of the country. Within these hours dozens of families were flooded, the lives of hundreds of residents were endangered, their homes and businesses were destroyed. In fact, so far nothing new. Now, we are used to it, like every winter, floods have become part of the season. In a country like ours where the gears of the state are rusty, it is commonplace. In my opinion, the greatest responsibility falls on the Civil Emergency, which is only for emergency cases that are not, both in summer fires and in winter floods.

Yesterday, the prime minister "beat" his chest in parliament, saying that flood measures were taken a week ago. What will he say today? Another lie about compensation and that next year this situation will not be repeated?! However, we are a people who forget, we will forgive again, and we will slap and kiss the dirty hand of our politicians.
